đź’Ş About DADthlete

Who said dads can’t lift?

DADthlete started as a tongue-in-cheek idea somewhere between late-night feeds and early-morning meetings. I’m a father of two, working in a high-pressure field, and like many dads, I was slowly gaining weight — both physically and mentally.

One day, I looked in the mirror and realised: if I want to keep up with my kids, I need to work at it. I need to work for it.

I wanted to be strong for them — strong enough to carry them, chase them, coach them, and one day, stand huge and intimidating when my daughter brings home her first boyfriend (half-joking…but not really).

More directly, keeping fit allows me to participate in sport (basketball for me) which mentally resets as much as physically.

The idea for DADthlete came shortly after — a brand for dads like me, who are trying their best to show up at work, at home, and at the gym.

What is DADthlete?

Dadthlete is for the dads who:

  • Balance burpees and bedtime
  • Crush workouts or Lego towers — depending on the day
  • Aren’t afraid to rock a “Dad Bod Under Construction” tee with pride

We’re not selling six-packs. We’re building a mindset — one that’s strong, funny, supportive, and real.

We lift.

We laugh.

We lead.

Join the tribe. Wear the gear. Redefine what a DAD bod is...Embrace the dad-strength life.
